Sky Canoe Begins 2020 With New Team Members and Customers

Sky Canoe is excited to announce three outstanding new team members who greatly strengthen our Oil&Gas networks, research acumen and First Nations community engagement:

Firstly, Sky Canoe would like to welcome Dr. Fidel Khouli to our team. Dr. Khouli is conducting research at the forefront of aeroservo-elasticity, stability and control of flexible airframes. He has published several papers in prestigious engineering journals and the proceedings of international conferences. He was also part of the engineering team at Bombardier Aerospace that developed the world’s most advanced business jet, the Global 7500. Fidel strengthens Sky Canoe’s research acumen and we are very excited to have him on board.

Frances Sanderson joins Sky Canoe as our First Nations Community Engagement Adviser, helping to ensure our related business engagement is positive, culturally sensitive and generates real impact. France is currently the Executive Director at Nishnawbe Homes Inc. and her community involvement includes serving on numerous boards and committees. These include the Toronto Aboriginal Affairs Committee, the George Brown Aboriginal Education Council, the Toronto Police Service Aboriginal Consultative Committee and the Chief's Advisory Committee.

Finally, John Ireland is joining Sky Canoe to assist us with engaging the offshore Oil & Gas market. John is the president of Upfront Analysis and was CleanTech Open's 2019 mentor of the year. He has extensive networks and a background in Oil & Gas, which is a key market segment for us. Sky Canoe had the great luck of having John as our mentor during the CleanTech Open, and as a result he has gained a deep understanding of our business. As we grow, advisers like John are our first line of strength for filling out staff and executive positions, and we are excited to explore the future together.

Welcome Frances, John and Fidel!

In addition to bringing on the above team members, in January 2020 Sky Canoe also secured an important new national customer in Canada. Specific engagement details are currently being negotiated, but we expect a big announcement in the coming weeks... stay tuned!

Happy New Year, and here's to a profitable and prosperous 2020!
